hi all..

Its been a long time since i log in. Just want to share my experience diving at bidong and karas island last week!! It was fantastic.. the visual is great.. just manage to do couple of dives at Pulau Karas and Pasir Cina Reef.. I hope to come again and dive at the gallery and other dive spots.

Besides the dive thing.. the history of the bidong island itself make this island so special.. i learn and manage to dig some of the story and history from the locals during my 5 days camping there at bidong.

Looking forward to come again and do some more dives.. anybody have any interesting story to share about this dive site.. plse help your self..

p/s : everything was fantastic except for the bulldozer that sank at pasir cina reef...I dont know if i want to laugh or to feel sad.. entah lah.. kiss

Looks like you had a good trip!!! Thanks for sharing and Ketam saw pics of the bulldozer before..... Heard that it was an accident and the owners decided that buying a new one is more economical than salvaging it. Hope it becomes an artificial reef.

hi ketam thanks for responding.. actually i dont really mind about the bulldozer, as long as it sink in the water. But when the water 'surut' it kind of spoil the beautiful scenery especially during sunset.. embarrased.. But sometimes from shore it does looks like a lockness creature...hehe laughing11

ak pon nampak excavator tu, ade skit je coral yg tumbuh, xbyk ikan.
derang kate terjatuh masa construction untok UMT nye study facilities kot. x sure.

im also confuse to view it as a plus or minus. dlm 10 tahun lg kot baru nampak coral growth

look at the bright side, we will have a new wreck.. uniquely excavator wreck.

How do you organise a trip to these islands?
Bum boat and camping on the island, or do they take you out each day?

just wondering... did they remove all the diesel or other liquids from the excavator? Im not an expert in these matters, but wouldnt corrosion risk the the chemicals leaking out?

Its not intentionally placed there, so i don't think any of the bio-safe action is done.
