i translate from Google Translator, hope all get the idea for the accident.

News from SinChew:
(Selangor ? Pulau Ketam) The last day of 2010, the sea favor a "gift" to the Ketam Island fishermen, so they caught a lucky ray more than 1 thousand kg of fish, size too big and scary! The unknown species of fish, larger than twice as large as an adult, fishermen spent a lot of time before it successfully pull on to fishing boat. Fishermen in the salvage process very carefully to ensure that fishing vessels will not be too heavy and "capsize"! Only with the rays offshore, attracted many villagers out crowd, and with respect to the only giant monster, perhaps the history of the island fishermen catch the most "weight" of the catch.

News from ChinaPress:
(Klang, 31) yesterday Ketam Island fishermen caught a ray weighing 1300 kg, fishermen release scheduled for today, but found it is dead this morning. This is the first time in Ketam Island fishermen ever catched biggest rays, the width of 18 feet, length 11 feet. Islanders Kang Mingshun talk to the "ChinaPress Daily " that the fishermen caught the ray 7 pm last night, the rays mistakenly hit fishermen placed rope in the sea cages, the result is a rope wrapped, was found injured. Fishermen untied the rope but due to darkness, fishermen left it at sea to settle down, and going to release it this morning, unfortunately found it was dead. Formerly known as the "Devil Rays Bats", that live in tropical and subtropical waters of the bottom, one of the cartilaginous fish, known as the "water monster ", but in fact is a very gentle animal , they mainly feed on plankton and small fish. Rays are found in the main between 35 degrees latitude north and south Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean.

something is not right.. why will a manta, and a huge one, be near pulau ketam? it is a bit too shallow for it to be there..

did the fisherman go to fish at places they should not have gone?
