Calling all free diving enthusiast!

You are cordially invited to come and/or participate in the 1st Malaysian Pool Freediving Championship.

The details are as follows:

Date: Jan 9, 2011
Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Registration for competitors is at 8.30am)
Venue: Klang Executive Club, Persiaran Bukit Raja 2, Bandar Baru Klang, Selangor

This is an event recognised by AIDA International, the world governing body for freediving and sponsored by Klang Executive Club and Scuba Symphony Sdn Bhd.

Disciplines that are to be competed are:

Static Apnea
Dynamic Apnea with Fins

There will be separate events for Men and Women.

Fees are as follows:
Registration: RM20
Entry Per Event: RM20

Restrictions:
Malaysian Citizen
Certified freediver. (Minimum 1* Pool Freediver)

Lunch will be provided for all participants courtesy of Klang Executive Club.
Prizes are courtesy of Scuba Symphony Sdn Bhd (Beuchat)

For those who are interested but have not completed an AIDA course, there will be a 1* Pool Free Diver course to be conducted.
Details are as follows:

Course: AIDA 1* Pool Free Diver
Date: 8 Jan 2011
Time: 10am to 4pm
Fee: RM250
Venue: Kompleks Sukan Negara Shah Alam Pool (formerly known as Panasonic Pool)
Includes: Course fee, certification, pool usage

Please bring your own swimsuits, mask, fins.
