Looks a bit disorganised.

It's supposed to be just one month from now, yet the website and Facebook page have no information.

The organisers are probably still waiting for confirmation from the resorts etc.

But if the organisers haven't firmed up anything... why would anyone want to register with them...??

This is the 4th year that Coral Malaysia is organizing The Underwater & Island Challenge and i've participated for all of the last 3 events and i will be joining this one too. It's a really fun event to be at and you learn a lot from other divers and photographers as well. Winning is a different story all together...it's how lucky you are lah...hehe  ;)

Maybe the resort got back to them late? It's publicity for the resort..i don't think they'll reply last minute??
Also sea conditions over at east coast were quite rough...correct? High waves, rough seas and such... So maybe organizers waited till the situation is better and to have the full approval from Ministry of Tourism Terengganu, for everyone's safety reasons, to go ahead at full speed with this event.

Coral Malaysia are very good organizers and i think we should all support them. This is to promote tourism in Malaysia, not a scam or anything. This is a FIRM and ready to rock event.

Show some support, please ask why before jumping to conclusions...?

Super Admin, you should show support, participate and represent MUW at the event :)

 Alamak bro CK..... we only assist in ways of normal govt agency would do..... but on your questions..... it should be forwarded to the secretariat..... I'll convey the msg to them..... and hopefully they can reply it here also for public reference......

Anyway.... from what been told by the organisers and what been agreed was that the partial spirit of this project was to conserve and we have agree on that ..... meaning pictures taken will be exhibit during any related events for people aware and appreciate this God given beauty...... so the mode of leisure dive may have to be lessen out..... hey we are somehow indirectly on a mission here..... but still this is part of my personal and emotionally semangat and thoughts.... can still call them to clear things out.....

Sorry for the melalut.... hehehehe...
