haha, cool. now ppl are starting to get interested. malxn, dont think MUW ada booth la. checked the exhibition list already.
yeah, time to meet the 'seasoned' ones. maybe NooBs like me can learn a few things.  haha, maybe we can ask fellow members to wear one colour so can easily recognize  :P then can have teh tarik session there.

hmmm, where are the otais?  Nope, no MUW booth this year and don't think there'd be any t-shirts but for meeting up, maybe some of the those here opening booths there can offer their booth as 'proxy' for MUW?

Most of the Otais are still in Indo..
They just came back from Komodo...

Hello MUWians,

This year we are not going to have an official MUW booth. However, MUWians are encouraged to go and support MIDE '09, as there are many of our members in the industry having booths there. Some without booth are still having great discounts in their stores as a sign of support for MIDE, which makes lots of sense as they are able to pass back the booth rental cost (RM2000-4000) back to consumers in form of more discounts.  :P :D

Anyway, please turn up in force on all days wearing the classic MUW "RESCUE this DIVER" t-shirt, if you can. Coffee and snacks are provided at the refreshment stalls for MUW members, just pay for them at the cashier..  :D :D

Have fun riding the MIDE wave, and see yer all there..

Was over there during lunch with some friends. It was actually my first time at MIDE and it really did not impress me.

It seems a little "haphazard" with a sort of "pasar malam" (night market) atmosphere. People walking it all directions, no signage....hell....I most probably missed quite a few of the booths becos I went in a wrong direction too.

Was it always like this? Or is it because it's the first day?

Anyway, there were great deals in terms of merchandise, gear and trips so worth a look for all interested.  :) :)

hahaha, went to MIDE today. left with huge bags and a huge hole in my pocket! wanted to attend the seminars but i just couldn't find the place! haih...but anyway, really good bargains.. now..time to test the new stuffs. :P come come lets go diving!
