Hi juma_rossa, our long awaited OWD..

In pool session, we basically have fun with safety very much being observed. Newbies like me and you can try some of the other member's gadgets and equipment, with their permission of course.

1. Before going to pool-session, it is best that you plan what you are going to do to improve your diving:
- learn how to deploy and retrieve Surface Marker Buoy or SMB
- learn how to regulate your breathing underwater
- test your buoyancy with additional equipment you plan to bring
- test new equipment
- test your new camera, and learn to take photos underwater
... and many-many more targets and purposes.

2. Once you have set your target, bring what ever that you need to complete the tasks, if possible the same things that you are going to bring when at sea.

3. Turn up, show your membership card, pay the fees, collect whatever you rent, and bring down to the pool.

4. If you are alone, try to look for a buddy just like in the sea, before you dive, and share your plans with your buddy.

5. Observe all the safety procedures that you have learned, bearing in mind that although the pool is only 5 meters deep, you can still be affected by the pressure.

6. Complete all your tasks and tests, observing the fact that you are in less buoyant environment, being in non-salt water environment.

7. Finish your dive, have fun and have a safe dive.

8. Take good care of the rental equipment, and your friends' equipment...

9. Clean equipment, pack up and go Teh Tarik and LUNCH!!

JR, fyi swimming pool sessions is very very important either ur a beginner or experience diver. Like Snafu said, its the cheapest way to train. Treat the pool as a training ground and the ocean as ur playing ground. Cheers! :glasses9:

Hi!
Pool Session at PADE this weekend need to reconfirm due to another swimming competion held there. Usually during competion deep pool will closed to public.
I'll post the update this afternoon.

To Mr Halimi,
You can bring your student together. Shallow pool can use at anytime. Somemore, you can have special service "Assistance Instructor (from DMT) " during your confine water teaching.

Ok
Thanks.

Ok
Thanks.

Hi ATX Diver!
Actually I'm also not sure what is AI..for me it could be ASME Instructor (American Society Of Mechanical Engineers Instructor)
In Malaysia not many got this title. He..he..he..
Pressure Vessel Inspector.
