CANCELLED BECAUSE OF LACK OF RESPONSE

The pool at PJ Pool is now open! Yay, we now have a BIG public dive pool in PJ!

So let's launch the new pool with a MUW pool session.

Date: CANCELLED
Time: 1.30pm
Cost: RM40 for tank and weights only (gear rental at Sea Monkey Dive Centre)
Maximum: 30 divers*

* Only for certified divers. Non-divers wanting to try scuba must get an instructor.

Who is coming? Please put your name down early. If you put down last minute, very susah for organising! Also, if you don't tell us early, then the dive centre cannot prepare tank for you!

Pool dive normally is for divers to do the refresher (long time din touch the sea water/ long time din dive, lost touch about the scuba equipments) or those who want to fine tune their skills, mainly for certified diver as a practical field or to kill time before the diving season re-open in Malaysia. If you are not the diver/ free diver, normally will not do the pool dive.
"What to see" - i think nothing much, unless you are with a group of friends, seeing each other

. Other wise, no fish in the swimming pool...Some of the divers/ free divers might be joining in the pool session, from there, we can see how they practise....some divers might be practising their rescue skills with his/her buddy for RD/DM...etc....

can be on so many many reasonssss.. As nglg212 said, you can arrange the "why" and "what" yourself too.
You can also get familiar with the new pool and the dive shop for further info (can be any..)

and also can whack A&W and the nasi kandar!

how deep is the deepest part of the pool.

It is 4 metres deep. Pool area still under construction, I saw it today.

DM eligible to do Discover Scuba for them..

under SSI, minimum rating to conduct Try Scuba in pool are Dive Controller Specialist (or AI),
other agencies not sure..

Try Scuba (Open Water) must be conduct by Open Water Instructor.

had A&W 1st, then go dive, after dive sure hungry again then whack nasi kandar

btw, can tell how much is the rental of scuba gears?? (bcd, fin, reg)
