Hello Bebs.

I have always wanted to hear The Planets live.

Planning to go on the dates above and will buy the tickets on the 18/1/2008 (subject to availability).

Going for the A Reserve Ticket at RM75. Other options please refer to the website.

100+ storng orchestra incl. 8 horns on stage dude, it's gonna be bombastic!

Listen out for the Jupiter, my fav....opening with horns!

Yes Jupiter, nice!

Only been listening to it the on the Hifi- a Andre Previn work. since then have always wanted to the hear it live. my only way to describe it as Holst have really captured the emotions in his work.

Acoustic wise Circle and Upper Circle ae the best, as the sounds travels upwards and forwards.

A reserve more expenisve, all the cute chicks and handsome dudes are there...

I got the Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.., guess for now I can only listen to them in playing in my CD changer...

were you guys there?
Missed the OK signal, only saw someone waving ie in scuba means divers in distress

Anyway, if you guys were there, hope that you enjoyed the show, I blew my brains out inthe Jupiter and my face turned all red but you probably won;t be able to seeit unless you had binoculars!

Yeah that dude..some Chinaman whizkid! Made us musicians wanna throw our instruments out of the window, after years and years after practising....only to find out some kid can just do it and make it sound like a piece of cake! Damm!

Thanks again for the help and sorry we did not give you the signal. we were looking for you but as mocha said dont know how you look like and also you musician are so far away, will bring mini bino next time. we were seating at upper circle.

yup. that guy was impressive, standing up, tak baca taugeh just full throttle all the way. also on his encore/solo never seen anyone played by plucking the strings.

but now i can die happier after listening to the planets live. you guys were fantatstic. but pity the pipe organ guy, having to sit all alone up there. was he using a LCD to view the conductor?

Rom and Mocha was impressed by the guy playing the timpani. sekejap sekejap check the drums. and there were 2 set thats night.

but looking at it live, wow...the planets are wind and horn internsive yaa?

and how the dynamic ranges from very soft to very loud (red faced?hhheh).

but we were tertipu laa...were wondering where the vocals were coming from, thought the players were singing or maybe the pipe organ.

but at the end the choir came out...we did not see them, sitting up there.

any way it was a fantastic performance, master class and i salute you and you fellow musician.

The concert organ has a mirror reflecting the conductor, linda like the car's mirror but still accidents do happen...no different here!

Dynamic was from extremely soft to blow out the brains and whatever comes out from the bottom LOUD!

Choir was the KL Female Chorus led by Shafinaz!
