Looks like the kid is sharing air with DaaKuLa using the octo...it looks fun, but could be a bad idea...as he was free diving, there's a chance that he might hold his breath when returning to surface. If he surfaced without exhaling(holding his breath), it is possible for him to experience lung expansion.

Just sharing my view here. I think it's a bad idea for scuba divers to share air with snorkelers.

understand the concern - i would not recommend a snorkeller or freediver to share air with a diver if it was deeper than 10m (1 or more atmospheric) as the change in pressure would be great and can cause lung injuries should the snorkeller or freediver ascend without releasing the air in their lungs.

However, in view that the pool is no deeper than 5meters, i would think that the pressure change will be marginal.

I do encounter some scene whereby people do get lung discomfort at that pool doing just that
so all i can say....divers had been advised not to do such a thing unless they really
know what they are doing  :glasses9:
