Malaysia Book of Records - Diving 24 Hours
« on: February 21, 2008, 11:32:20 PM »

Has anybody heard about this plan which will take palce at Tioman this year. The attempt is by a diver from Seremban name Fadzuan Ismail. Read about his idea in a local newspaper recently. Any support from MUW or keen organisers to joint the historical moment?
Will keep everybody inform about the programme or anyone who know about it please keep us informed.

Where exactly is the dive site this attempt gonna be?

Does he need company underwater throughout the 24 hours?

I am happy to company him & I'll do it at my own cost.

Hey wait a minute...that means the MBR must include my name too rite?  :D :D :D

Why does he want to do MBOR? .... Break the World Record then is worth it.

While he is at it...suggest to him to be the first Malaysian to hit 350m deep diving with open circuit, would be world class too.

If he wants to get DAN support for his attempt...tell me, I can give John Lippman from DAN a call. I heard there's a new chamber at Mersing Hospital.

Bro I dont do cheap publicity nor do i do anything glamor for the sake of having my name inside + I dont have time for it.

That is the answer to your challenge...Anyway if you are the support for the MBOR, good luck & hope they will succeed with the MBOR.

Correction on your facts:

1. I did not start diving at young age - I am a new diver..still learning.
- Only start diving recently towards end of last year.

2. I dont have super freak knowledge in diving - Just enough to help another fellow divers & I do learn from divers too.
- Not much change been done in diving for many years so what I know now is the same or less then other divers.

3. I dont know much about the UW world as per your statement especially when comes to Marine Life...near ZERO.
- You can ask any divers that dive with me about it...nothing to hide from my side.

Where did you hear all this or was it your assumption? Anyway if there is anything you would like to know about me..fell free to ask me in person & will try my very best to answer it.

Lastly congrats with your Eco certification & hope you can share your experience with others including myself.

As for this MBOR.. Good luck & all the best with it.
