WATER CARNIVAL

EVENT : FREE Water Carnival for ALL ages
ORGANISERS : NESCAFE KICKSTART
DATE : 14th MARCH 2008 (FRIDAY)
TIME : 2PM to 6PM
VENUE : UKM (BANGI) @ DANAU GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB INSIDE UKM, MAIN CAMPUS BANGI

DETAIL ON THE EVENTS
0. FREE ENTRANCE for ALL
1. WATER POLO for men
2. FREE MERMAID SHOW by TRAINED female diver
3. PHOTOGRAPHY CREW TO TAKE PICTURES WITH Mermaid
4. WATER AEROBICS for Ladies
5. Light Food & Drinks provided
6. SCUBA DIVING @ DISCOVERY RM50 for 20minutes in UKM pool
7. Certificate of Participation by PADI for those who ventured into SCUBA
8. WATER GAMES for children as well

There might be TVcrew

DIRECTION TO UKM SWIMPOOL @ WATER CARNIVAL ^_^

BY CAR
From the Sungai Besi toll just go all the way straight, you will by pass UPM.
Just turn off at the UKM come through the UKM turnoff toll.
You will then come to the 1st roundabout: 12 o'clock.
Then go straight till you reach 2nd roundabout: 3 o'clock
Then go all the way straight. You will see UKM main entrance ahead of you.

TO GET TO THE UKM POOL (= DANAU GOLF CLUB POOL IN UKM)
instead of using the main entrance.
Take a left at the traffic lights just in front of UKM main entrance.
go all the way straight for 1 or 2 minutes untill you reach the UKM side entrance on your RIGHT.
Take a right turn. You are at the other side of the road. Be careful when you turn right.

After the turning right into the UKM side entrance and bypassing a guard house.
JUst go all the way straight.
You will come to a T junction. Keep moving straight.
Follow straight road and Sign board to Kelab Rekreasi UKM (or Danau swim pool)
drive straight for few seconds till you come to a Hilly guard entrance on your left
turn in and drive up the hill into DAnau GOLF and country CLUB.
Drive up and turn left into the UKM pool.

PLEASE GET ASSIStance from the guards at the UKM guard house before entering if my directions sound confusing.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Take a KTM to the UKM station and get a taxi/ bus ride into UKM swim pool
