Okay so pool session is back, but we can't do lessons at Nasi Ayam Kampung okay? Need a projector and screen to go through slide shows and all.

If 19th October is the pool session, then a few of us cannot make it as we will be in Tioman. But since the Reef Check survey is a few months away, we have a lot of time.

Any dates in November or December for classes with pool sessions?

Babes, if i can suggest, i think it would be better if we make the pool session closer to the actual date of the reef check rather than 3-5 months before.

(With or without Ayam Kampung)

Reason being, old f*rts like me are more prone to not only short term attention spans, but temporary memory loss as well - esp when there is some form of reading and looking at projector/tv screens to be done.

EH...what was i talking about earlier?

Though the interest is ther, being an OW level, not sure how qualified I am. Thot the pool session for bouyancy test would be a good start. Count me in for the pool session.

The pool session exercise will help to better prepare ourselves for the course, in particular to ensure that we have the requisite buoyancy skill. There may be some OW that will need this. To meet in the middle for both memory loss & crash landing divers, I would suggest that we move it forward but still maintain a float of perhap 1 to 2 months for any divers that may need to improve their buoyancy after the pool session. DeepThrust - can your memory handle 2 months span?

Okay guys, b4 we will have the eco dive course, we will have the buoyancy test at Cheras pool several times. And one of the time we will have cikgu shafi and cikgu ridrahim to brief us what is Reef Check is all about and may be one of the time, Julian from Reef Check will come to give more info for the course.

So before the 2008 course yet to be announce, we will have several training on volunteery basis every sunday and will be announce here at this thread.

Everyone invited for the training including any meet up session at the pool.

we will try to find a good instructor for the buoyancy and weight check every time we do it at the pool.

so for you guys who had put ur name here, i hope you will come for the volunteer training at ur own time or together.

Will will update on the eco diver course here when everything is ok.

Most probably we will using Macha place in Redang for the course.
