Thern Da Seafood Pte Ltd is the manufacturer in Singapore. They have their own Facebook page to market "Shark's fin, Australia Abalones, Scallops, Japanese Flower Mushroom, Fish Maw, Coral Clams and Sea Cucumbers".

They also say that Mola Mola is now available at NTUC Fairprice.

126 people like the Facebook page. Hope none of them are your friends.

Stop them before Mola-Mola becomes "Mo-lor mo-lor"!

Just your comments on their page, bro. Were you holding back?

Yeah bro. I can only vent. Sometimes I think we are quite powerless to stop them.

Some of these fishing companies in Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, are rich and powerful. They don't seem to be afraid of enforcement agencies. I'm sure they bribe everybody also.

err.. whts wrong with eating mola-mola?

should we stop eating grouper fish, snapper fish, carp fish, angel fish, ikan kembung etc.. just because we see them in the sea?

if it aint protected species, it is perfectly legal to consume it.

or perhaps we shouldnt eat this as well.. just because we like to look at them underwater..

what's wrong with eating mola-mola?

are you like, serious? u do know that we can't just see the fish at port dickson, port klang or even around perhentian right? u do know that it takes a lot to see the fish? don't you have like, even a teeny bit of regrets saying that? pffffttt *unbelievable.*

well maybe you're not that appreciative but as for my self, i put a tremendous effort just to see them. im currently saving my money, choosing the right time and everything, hoping to see them in the sea. not on a plate.

then again, u have your opinion, we, those who care have our opinions. im just saying.

Syaz,

At this point, i think we should ignore him, he only like fake fish, fake chicken, fake Shark Fin.
He is not a diver, since he think is ok to eat SunFish or he actually have no idea what he is saying. hehehe what a joke!!!

So, now i wonder, he is not a Diver, not a Shark Conservationism, been actively promoting FAKE SFS,
Does he have a motive behind or he is just trying to be smart?

Seriously, he is a joke... reading his post "err.. whts wrong with eating mola-mola?

Correction,

Harold Chia aka vash_h, the guy who been actively promoting FAKE SFS, claim to be a

"Certified Advance O/W Diver"

Thinks that is ok to eat Mola-Mola if we eat fish, n been suggesting everyone to go a head to take that bowl of SFS since he personally thinks that :

"in malaysia, there is almost no place selling sharkfin soup using real sharkfin. there is a few restaurants but most is not."

It is ok to eat real shark fin soup from a few restaurants since he think most is fake?!!!!? GOSH....

LOL.. do you seriously think they go all out hunting mola-molas to be canned?

i know for sure they do that to whales.. which is just downright cruel.

the mola-molas they get, is from the trawl fishing nets.. which catches whatever fish swim through..

by the time the mola-mola is fished up and sorted in the fishing boat, the mola-mola is dead by then.

so, would you prefer them to throw the mola-mola back to the sea? a dead mola-mola who died for no reason at all?

before you go around promoting 'dont eat mola-molas', i would suggest you look into the root cause, and eliminate the root cause, which is trawl fishing.

 :P

btw, i am certified advanced OW diver. what does that have to do with what i like to eat? i enjoy diving, looking at fishes, 'imagining them steamed or deep fried'.. thats what i like to do and will continue to 'eat, sleep & dive'. or perhaps PADI has changed its criteria to become advance OW certification, and they must hold placards like green peace activist.

at least green peace is protesting against things that really is root cause of problems. they are activist that does RESEARCH.
and by the way, i donate and assist green peace in their cause. how about you? rather than talking and no action. so what you made a facebook page or 2..

damn, i hate activist that dont bother to do research.
