Attention all certified ECODIVERS!

Hope all are well and I’m sure most of you have already started dipping your fins in sea water

.

A brand new year and a brand new sponsor. RCM will arrange one trip for each island this year and these trips, however, will not be fully sponsored. Reef Check Malaysia will only sponsor for 4 survey dives, and the rest (transportation, accommodation, meals and rental gears) are on your own costs. We will confirm on the accommodations soon. Maximum of 5 divers for each trip. Below are the proposed dates for the trips. As for now, please sign up for a trip each so that everyone can participate. If there are spaces still, then you can add your name for the other ones.

Okay, looks like I'm confirmed for Tioman survey on 23-25th April.

Although, may i ask for clarification pls cos the message is kinda confusing. The initial note said "RCM will arrange for one trip each island.... Maximum of 5 divers for each trip" and then one scrolls down and sees that Tenggol has 2 teams of 10 people (which is great!!! Don't get me wrong, as it means that all the sites surveyed last year will be surveyed again this year)...

But does this mean that we can actually have up to two teams per trip if people sign up for them?

Tenggol is a special case, as always. That's why it's listed there 2 teams and not the others. And yes, we will get to survey all the sites again this year, maybe a couple of new ones too.

As for the other island trips, there'll be 1 team only. Early preparations will be made this year as RCM will have a few hands to assist us in the islands, so guys, all u have to do is just jump in and do the survey!

So, for those who haven't sign up yet, do so ya!
