Dive for Earth Day 2008
« on: April 06, 2008, 12:04:31 PM »

B&J Diving Centre needs your help!

To celebrate Dive for Earth Day in partnership with Project AWARE, B&J Diving Centre is organising:

- COT (Crown of Thorns) Cleanup

- Coral transplanation event

This is your chance again to get involved in a conservation activity that won’t cost the earth and make a difference for our ocean.

What?    COT Cleanup Event

When?    Friday, 25th of April

Where?  Tioman Island, we will cover at least 2 dive sites

Time?    Meet us at B&J at 09:00am

Costs?   MYR 100.00 only for 2 dives! The rest is all sponsored by B&J

All divers need to confirm participation before our cleanup day. Please register your interest by sending an email to martin@divetioman.com before 20th April 2008. Please note that accommodation is selling out fast so please book your trip with B&J ASAP. Saturday & Sunday are normal diving days but everyone who wants can continue collecting COT.

Every volunteer will receive a Project AWARE Certificate of Recognition and decal to proudly display.

Thanks for your support, B&J looks forward to seeing you on the 25th April in Salang Bay.

Thanks for letting us know about this, we will have to note this clean-up event and take it into consideration when we do our Reef Check survey that weekend  :)

Good luck and have fun!
