Prevent flu/Curb flu?? But at the same time, go diving, eh??

Flu is caused by a virus, an airborne virus, mind u!! That means flu is transmitted via airborne droplets.

Which also means, u should try to avoid people who are having flu, as transmission is thru coughing/sneezing. Try that, and u should be fine...plus some Clarinase/Clarityne to be on the safe side. Vitamin C tablets should help u in warding off those dreadful airborne viruses.

Hahahaha! That's true, Divedoc.  You can't help it if you contract flu durig a dive trip..and imagine if you had spent thousands to dive, say, at Maldives or Raja Ampat, and you shake hands with someone who has the flu...

So this topic is meant to brainstorm and get the opinion of the learned Divedoc and Caduceus on how best to alleviate the symptoms, and remedy the situation, and make the best of the dive trip. It would be a waste to go on a dive trip and spend time in a wheelchair...eh, sorry, that sounds familiar...go to a dive trip and not dive...eh, sounds familiar too. ;D ;D

Bring along Afrin nasal spray. The way to use it is not just to tilt your head backwards and put a few drops in! This is how it's done:
Tilt your head backwards, put two drops into each nostril, bend over forward as if you're attempting a forward roll, then in the same bending forward position, tilt your head to the left and right. Reason for doing this is to make sure the nasal drops enter your sinus openings and also another reason is that your friends can laugh at you while you're doing that, hahaha...
