Hi snazer.....
Ketam not sure about the oceanic geo, but have been using the D4 for 1 year + (140+ dives) no problem so far. Really like the simple interface.

Suunto D4 is my pick. Quite a bias opinion but I love the Suunto brand. They make good watches especially for outdoors. I am using a Zoop for diving :-)

Suunto is a good dive comp, but in a way a bit conservative (RGBM) ..Oceanic also not bad, not so conservative....U can use D4 for freediving, not sure about the oceanic...

Well, i guess it is more to personal preferences. Some like to eat nasi kandar.. some would say nasi kandar poses health hazards.. some prefer this nasi kandar restaurant.. some prefer this nasik kandar restaurant.. hehe

Whatever it is, u r now a proud owner of a dive comp. I can now tumpang ur dive comp whenever we go for a dive together.. hehe

i have a Suunto Favor, Stinger, D4 and Mares Nemo Excel. No problems on the Suunto as it is a good computer, but recently my D4 giving problems (about 80 dives) as it will auto reset the time during a dive. Am sending back to Suunto Finland soon. Few of my buddies have D6 and 3 had problems with the depth / time during diving. (the dive com continue diving up to depths of 110m, even after diving).

Mares is pretty good as well, but on conservative side, similar to suunto. The thing abt nemo which i like is the metalic base (as compared to D4) and its quite good looking.

Am getting a Uwatec Galileo Terra soon, so i m selling off the Mares Nemo if anyone interested.
