Good day everyone ..while i was surfing on youtube i accidently see this video..coincidence this video happen to be in Redang...can anyone happen to be there clarify what is actualy happen to this guy..as the comment write saying that the Panick diver (DM) having a missing fin i doubt that just by having a missing fin the DM can over react....

it was upload by a user id as pumm and if i am not mistaken pumm is also a current forumer in MUW and she is also an instructor. Perhaps she can say a few words since she was there durin the incident happened.
From the looks of it , can say the diver was in a panic mode. A panic diver can be violent to be rescued.
I dont think it was bcoz of the fin coz in the vid he was holding the fin.

........if it indeed a rescue excercise ,it is horribily done . To remove a panic diver 'mask without forcing and holding his regualtor in his mouth and making sure it stays that way during ascend and intemittent purging or even continously purging air in his mouth is disastrous if the pd decide to spit out the mouth pc.

who can bear the pain of the mask being pulled and snap

I say the guy who was holding the tank behind him did the best.

purging air??? hum have to see again the vid. Didn't see that.

I did a scenario with my instructor. Once act as a violent panic diver. We discussed.
we can never predict what a panic diver can do.
Best way is to minimal the panic diver action. Get back the diver conciousness or else left him/her
knock out. Saving someone motionless is more easier.
See how he pulled the diver mask. Means what he can see he can destroy. After the mask was taken out from him. He then stop and close his eyes and only focus on his breathing.

I only experienced diver panic half concious. Still able to listen to instruction and so i just give my review base on my logic. My opinion might be unreasonable to others.

mmmm.... saya tersangatlah familiar dgn tempat ni... dan tersangatlah tahu kat mana tempat ni.... he he he....

jahat betul dorg nih...... he he he...

i pernah shoot video dlm kawasan ni...
tp saya x ler kenal pelaku2 dlm video ni....

tp sekadar bg clue sket....

kenapa dorg ni bukak fin & pkai weight berat2.....? sbb senang nk jalan utk buat keje....
kedalaman tempat tu lebih kurang 4-5m shj.... he he he
cuber nengok telatah org lain... he he he...

*** saya teringat masa buat rescue diver dulu... saya ingat teruk juga saya kena raging, selain kena sepak dgn fin di muka,
mask saya dicabut, regulator dibuang.. tank di tanggalkan dari BC.. dan fin dicabut... saya terpaksa betulkan tank.. buka BC.. bernafas.. btulkan tank tanpa mask, cari fin & mask.. pakai semula dan ketawa.....
