Tagged hawksbill turtle adopted by army unit in Melaka

Kem Terendak recently adopted a hawksbill turtle which had nested on a beach adjacent to their military camp on 11 August 2007. The turtle has since been tagged with MY4444/MY4445 flipper tags to track her migratory movements via satellite.

WWF claims geo-engineering firm plans to dump urea in Malaysian sea

On their Philippines website, the WWF claims to have discovered plans by the Australian geo-engineering group Ocean Nourishment Corp. to dump 1,000 tonnes of urea in Malaysian waters next year.
